EngageLeap ("we", "us", or "our") operates the EngageLeap platform, a SaaS survey and community engagement tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. Please read it carefully. 1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and a password. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.
Survey Responses
We collect the answers, rankings, ratings, and other inputs that survey participants submit through surveys created on our platform. Responses are associated with the survey session and may include demographic information if the survey editor has configured a wrap-up / demographic question.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, IP address, and timestamps. This data is used to operate and improve the service.
Payment Information
Billing and payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the EngageLeap platform.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To process and display survey responses to the organization that created the survey.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts).
- To send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time).

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to perform services on our behalf.
Within Your Organization
Survey responses and analytics are accessible to members of the organization account that created the survey, subject to the access controls set by the account administrator.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EngageLeap, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Survey response data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterward to allow data export. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and understand how users interact with our service.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will promptly notify you of any breach that affects your personal data as required by applicable law.

EngageLeap is operated from Canada. EngageLeap is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify account holders via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
